There has been a school in Rogaška Slatina for more than 70 years, where also glassmakers and glass technicians are trained. On 22 September 2021, the school organized an international meeting for primary school counselors at the Rogaška Glassworks, as the School Center is working to gain more students for the glass professions.
The School Center introduced to participiants the apprenticeship system and the scholarship scheme, they demonstrated production with glass in Steklarna Rogaška and showed the glass workshops at school. Several artists who work with glass presented their work and products. Our director Borut Šiško presented a modern glass production in the company Šiško steklarstvo together with the company film.
