Lacquered glass plays an increasingly important role in the interior design of residential and business premises. It is also used for glass screens, lamps, etc. It is lacquered with water or ceramic colours.
With water colours we can achieve all shades according to RAL and NCS color scale. Glass is lacquered after processing and tempering in a cold state.
With ceramic colours we achieve greater durability, mechanical resistance and temperature resistance of the painted surfaces. We apply the ceramic colours to the glass with spray, screenprint or rollers before tempering process. The colour is dried and stabilized in a tunnel oven. It is enamelled to the surface of the glass during the glass tempering process at 640 °C. This process is also called glass enamelling.
In order to be able to use glass as a piece of equipment or as building material in construction, we need safety tempered glass. It is used for glass balustrades, stairs, partitions, doors, canopies, showcases, shelves, etc.
If we want a stronger and safer glass, we heat-treat it and get tempered glass. After tempering its strength is increased fourtimes, its temperature resistance is increased up to 120° and its impact strength increases significantly. When broken, it is ground into smaller fine grains.
Laminated glass is manufactured by bonding two or more glass sheets together. In the case of breakage it is held in place by an interlayer between the sheets of glass and thus prevents the injuries of people and objects.
Types of laminated glass are:
When we want to reduce the noise, we can laminate different glass thicknesses with an adhesive layer of one or more mm.
For glass flooring we usually use a tempered 6 mm glass for the top layer, followed by 2 or more layers of 8 or 10 mm thick glass (depending on the projected loads, dimensions of the glass and mounting methods).
For bulletproof glazing 3, 4 or more layers of glass are laminated together to achieve the appropriate bulletproof grade.
Max. dimension of our laminated glass is 1800×3000 mm.
We create gentle lines and various designs on glass with sandblasting. Special effects are achieved by shading and dispersing the light on glass surface.
We have more than 1500 graphic designs in our library and accept also your artwork in vector graphic (.dwg. or .cdr format).
Sandblasted glass is uniformly treated with our modern sandblasting machine. Full surfaces or precise details can be made and even three contures are possible.
Sandblasted glass can be coated with a special protective coating to prevent the surface from being sensitive to cleaning.
UV glass bonding technology has evolved in recent years and is a modern way of bonding glass. In this process we make joints between the glasses with UV glue. It is a polymeric adhesive that solidifies and becomes completely transparent with UV light.
This process is used for glass cubes, showcases, for joining metal and glass surfaces. We can UV glue monolithic or laminated glass. To achieve high strength of joints we use a pyrolytic UV joint process.
