Between 21 and 22 May 2026, Šiško steklarstvo presented itself at the international BIG SEE Festival in Portorož, one of the leading platforms for architecture and design in Southeast Europe. Among more than 100 selected exhibitors, we presented a mosaic of glass and mirrors for contemporary architecture, developed as a result of many years of collaboration with architects, designers and investors. The exhibited pieces demonstrated how glass, as a sustainable and timeless material, can co-create light, reflections, transparency and the overall spatial experience.
The festival welcomed more than 3,000 professionals from 21 countries, creating numerous opportunities for conversations, the exchange of ideas and new international connections. We are proud to have been part of an event that encourages dialogue between architects, designers and manufacturers, while opening up new opportunities for future projects. We would like to thank all visitors for their interest and for the inspiring encounters.
We also rounded off our festival appearance by organising a full-day excursion for all employees of our company. As part of the excursion programme, our team visited the festival, saw our exhibition space and gained an insight into the scale of the event and the presentations of other exhibitors. The excursion was organised as part of the celebration of our company’s 60th anniversary, which we marked last autumn.
